Diese neue Abfüllung von einer unserer Lieblingsdestillerien reifte über 6 Jahre in ex Islay Quarter Casks. Die kleinen 125 Liter Fässer wurden in 2010 befüllt und der erhöhte Kontakt mit dem Holz ließ den Kilchoman Malt  schneller reifen. So zeigt sich ein üppiger konzentrierter Charakter mit intensiven Noten von Torf, Karamell, Vanille und der für Kilchoman typischen schweren Fruchtigkeit, die an Maracuja erinnert.
 
Die offiziellen Tastingnotes: 
Nose:   Powerful, citrus and floral notes with soft peat smoke.
Palate: Mouth coating, sweet, well rounded with soft peat interwoven
            with cooked fruits and vanilla.
Finish:  Long and clean with maritime salt and lingering soft peat
             smoke.
 
Abgefüllt ist diese Edition mit 56,9 % natürlicher Fassstärke.
